Wilding Free Mackenzie Volunteer Day

Wilding Free Mackenzie Volunteer Day

On the 29th of April Al was lucky enough to spend some time with the team from Wilding Free Mackenzie for one of their volunteer days.

The saying ‘a picture paints a thousand words’ couldn’t be more appropriate in this wilding pine infestation, and that is just in the Mackenzie basin. It was incredibly useful to understand and witness first hand, not just the size of the problem, but to see the multiple methods and idea’s of ridding the landscape of these evasive weeds.

Massive thank you to Haeleigh and the team from Wilding Free Mackenzie for their tireless efforts on this issue and all the volunteers and supporters who contribute year round.

I’m stoked that we picked ‘Wilding Free MacKenzie’ as the charity beneficiary for ‘The Woodsman’ Tipping Point Pinot Noir.
