Simply Red Ketchup
Ketchup but not as you know it, introducing our new Al Brown sauce ‘Simply Red’.
We wanted to create our twist on a classic ketchup, something that goes on everything but that really dials up the flavour. One of our go-to’s over the years has been a tomato kasundi recipe. We’ve used it in our restaurants, it’s been in cookbooks, at home, wherever we can. It’s a versatile condiment that can be used over meats, seafood and vegetables. Kasundi if you’re not familiar, is a type of relish originating from Asia most commonly found in India and Bangladesh. It’s wonderfully aromatic with spices like Fenugreek, Cumin, Cardamon, Mustard seeds and Turmeric. You can see why it’s a favourite.
Simply Red Kasundi ketchup keeps that familiar tomatoey sweetness we all know and love and combines it with those fantastic kasundi qualities. Use it with Fish ‘n chips, as a base for bruschetta, a dash to your pita, or turn even the humble sausage into a culinary masterpiece.
